Well the semester is finished. Yes folks the semester from hell is over and done with, never to be had again. Seriously though, it wasn't as bad as I had originally planned, and parts of it turned out quite well.

My seminar is finished and returned. In the words of Veronica let's say A for Awesome.

Saturday was Jerry's open house, and it was the usual success! Good food, good company! Heather and I had a nice time with the trains and all our other friends!

Christmas Vespers was Sunday. There was a very near crisis, but we all managed to avert it. The reception afterwards was lovely. The choir sounded very nice, contrary to some members belief. :)

Finals are over as well. Monday I turned in two take-home finals, Centemporary Theology and Antebellum History. I was free and fair on Tuesday, so the History Dept. went to the Banana Peel for lunch, which was lovely as well. We saw Dr. & Mrs. Fisk (retired History Prof.) and they were well. Wednesday I had my African History exam, which was fine, and then the Cambridge Hall holiday pot-luck. Wednesday evening I ate supper with Kari, and Jen Noble showed up! Then we went to the Lady Muskies' Basketball game. They lost. :( But things will get better! Then we went to Tom Houston's for an open house and it was very much fun. Today, Thursday, I had my New Testament Final. Let's just say I'm glad that's over. Then there was the Brown Chapel reception and I ate too much and had lots of fun! Tonight a bunch of us went to the Banana Peel for end-of-finals ice cream! It was ever-so much fun with such good friends. And I got to have chocolate and orange-pineapple ice cream! yay!!!

Wednesday was also Veronica's last day as an on-campus Muskie. It was sad to see her go, my breakfast and African buddy, but I think we're all ready to get out of here! So kudos to you V-ron! I'll miss you! (Alistair too)!

I have a canker sore, and it hurts. I always get them around exam time because of the stress, so I bought some generic Ambesol at Wal-Mart yesterday, and managed to numb about half my mouth before I figured out how it works!

Tomorrow I need to pack and get ready to go home. I have books and clothes to get ready. Over break I have to write a sermon and finish my seminary apps. Tomorrow is also Jan and Taylor Stults' holiday party for the history dept. and I have Youth Club at Church before I can head home finally.

The flu is really bad this year. And so..... I have finished my Christmas shopping on-line and do not plan to leave the confines of 26056 TR 1159 for the next month except for church and maybe a trip to town. I don't want to get sick! We aren't going anywhere for Christmas this year. Grandma really can't travel and so my aunt and uncle will visit, and the rest of the time we'll just be home. So..... if you live in or near Warsaw ring me up and we'll do something!

Next week I'm going to school with my mom for a day. I have to see these kids for a while, I've so many horror stories. Hmmm, hope I don't get sick!

Ok, I won't be posting here for a month, because we have dial-up at home, and it pretty much sucks. So if you need me, e-mail - or call: home - 740/824/3833 or cell - 740/502/7951.

To everyone: A very blessed and happy Christmas, please take some time away from the tinsel and presents to remember the real present of Christmas (Jesus, in case you forgot), and a very prosperous New Year! See you all in 2004!

Here it is folks, my Blog of randomness! (as if all my blogs weren't random, I mean it's called Irrelevant Musings, anyhow)

My lunch was free today, and good because the EAB dept. had a luncheon with too much food and invited other CH inhabitants to eat.

Thanksgiving was last Thursday. It was a good day. I ate too much, like the rest of America, and didn't need alcohol or perscription drugs to get through the day! (unlike last year) Go me!

I had an awful back ache on Thanksgiving day, but it is better now.

We had pumpkin pie on Turkey day, it was the best! Go grandma!

We went to church on Wednesday, Thanksginving Eve, for service. It was ok as church goes, I guess I enjoyed the whole "God thing" more than the "church thing."

That could be a dangerous attitude for me to take in my future profession.....

I got a chance to wear my African mittens today, they are very warm!

I also wore striped underpants today.

I did wear other clothes in case you were worried.

M*A*S*H is on right now, that is a great show!

Nothing rhymes with purple.

The World Alliance of Reformed (Presbyterian) Churches meets in Accra, Ghana July 30 - August 13, 2004. I would like to go, but doubt I will.

Christmas is coming. I haven't even begun to shop. Oh dear.

My seminar is nearing final completion.

I had class today. We had presentations. Mine concerned Liberation Theology.

I saw the love of my life Sunday. I don't think I'll ever be with her. Oh well.

Christmas cards. Hmmm, I should work on those.

Going out tonight. Should be fun.

I'll have my best friend back next semester. It's about damn time. :)

I only have two Christmas party invites thus far. If you're planning a party you should consider inviting me. I make parties better. I'm like BASF, I don't make a lot of the things you use, I make a lot of the things you use better.

Oh Holy night the stars are brightly shinging.....

Bring a torch oh Jeanette, Isabella.....

Lo, how a rose e'er blooming.....

Thought o' the day: "There are thing known and things unknown, and inbetween are the doors." - Jim Morrison.

Why does America celebrate Thanksgiving in November, when Canada celebrates it in October? Canada celebrates Thanksgiving when the harvest comes in. America waits to see if the harvest turns a profit.
